We are currently looking for people who live in Victoria, Western Australia and South Australia who are interested in being interviewed about Australia and international film and television series that have a gender- and sexually-diverse themes, characters and narratives, how they had an impact on your life, provided information about alternative ways of living, and your thoughts on how they might affect attitudes about ourselves or others. All interviewees will be remunerated for their time with a $40 gift voucher, and most interviews take about an hour.
The study will be a good fit for you, if you:
- Identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer (LGBTQ) or other non-heterosexual or cisgendered identity
- Were born in the 1970s or the 1990s.
All inteview material remains strictly anonymous, and no names will apear on any publications or talks from the project. The project has been approved by the University of Western Australia Human Research Ethics Committee, RA/4/20/5510.
